On Tuesday, February 26, Cincinnati’s Health Care Heroes were honored at Duke Energy Center in an event sponsored by the Business Courier. First, congratulations to all of the winners and the finalist. All were truly deserving of recognition.
The keynote speaker for that event was Craig Brammer, our CEO who also serves as CEO of HealthBridge and the Greater Cincinnati Health Council. Brammer, a self admitted health care geek, choose to speak about economic theory and outlined the lopsided nature of the health care transaction. It’s a transaction where consumers have very little information or control. After the event, the Business Courier’s health care writer, James Ritchie, wrote about the speech.
