Welcome to the second issue of The Vitals – where we’ll be bringing you monthly briefings on The Health Collaborative’s many initiatives to prioritize better health, better care, and lower overall cost of care for our region and beyond.
As 2015 draws to a close, I want to thank you for your support of The Health Collaborative and our work. Grassroots community members, employers, payers, business leaders and nonprofits have all come together to develop initiatives that in combination are improving health and health care for our region.
Moving forward in to 2016, our priorities include building upon this momentum within the four pillars of our work:
Collective Impact: Providing insight into regional health issues, to help catalyze community will around solutions and measure progress on shared community aims.
Program Management: Expertly managing large-scale improvement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Professional Services: Providing data and value-added solutions to specific business problems, we help our stakeholders succeed
Innovation: Supporting and accelerating innovation with our partners to make health and healthcare a competitive advantage for Cincinnati
We will continue to build a healthcare environment driven by quality healthcare, exploring new and creative ways to bring value to our stakeholders, finding innovations in payment reform, and leveraging more advanced data and technology to support these efforts.
Many are the opportunities and challenges facing healthcare. But with your help, we’ve built a very special, one-of-a-kind learning laboratory for leading health improvement initiatives – right here in Greater Cincinnati – and we’re committed to reinvesting your support in making Cincinnati one of the nation’s most innovative places for health and healthcare.
To you and yours, I wish a very happy and healthy holiday season.
