Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a technique that helps fortify people’s determination and commitment to change. This technique has been proven effective in improving interactions with numerous groups, including patients. Join the Health Collaborative, in conjunction with Sojourner Recovery, for a three part series that will provide the essentials of MI and applicable skills that you can put to use your next day at work.
Please note that you may attend each class individually or take them together as a series.
Each class has been approved for 2.5 continuing education credits (7.5 credits for the entire series) from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board through The Christ Hospital Social Work Department. The Ohio Board of Nursing and many other professional boards recognize Social Worker CEUs as long as the content is relevant to the professional development.
