October 13: Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) Training

HICS training is designed to help you understand your responsibilities, define your chain of command, recognize when to activate your emergency command system, and plan for all other variables necessary for handling any disaster. This course will cover the Fifth Edition Guidebook, which was released in 2014. The Fifth Edition has been expanded to meet the needs of all hospitals, regardless of their size, location, or patient care capabilities.

Who Should Attend: Hospital personnel who are likely to assume a leadership ICS position in the Hospital Command Center.
