Announcing The Health Collaborative recipient of 2024 AARP Health Equity Innovations Fund Award

The Health Collaborative is proud to be a recipient of a 2024 AARP Health Equity Innovations Fund award. As a result of this funding, THC has launched the Nurse Manager Academy (NMA), a year-long commitment to upskilling rising nurse leaders and existing leadership across Southwest Ohio. The NMA aims to improve nurse health and well-being, decrease vacancies/increase staff retention, and establish/sustain a healthy work environment.

AARP, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, have awarded nearly $275,000 to 12 projects offering promising solutions to strengthen and diversify the workforce through innovative nurse recruitment and retention strategies that establish and sustain healthy work environments.
