Did You Know: September is National Preparedness Month

All year long, The Health Collaborative facilitates collaboration to ensure our community is as prepared as possible to prevent, mitigate and recover from emergency situations. On September 26, in partnership with Miami University Hamilton, we conducted a full-scale disaster drill designed to simulate a mass casualty incident on a university campus. This training will involve approximately 60 participants practiced real-world skills such as triage, emergency response coordination, and filed operations. This offered students a unique opportunity to learn directly from healthcare and emergency management professionals.
