The Health Collaborative (THC) has promoted Ericson Imarenezor, MHSA, to Sr. Specialist, Community Health. Community Health will be a main area of focus moving into 2023 as we convene key stakeholders around the CHIP (Community Health Improvement Plan).

Ericson has been an integral part of our community health strategies work since July of 2020, starting as an Administrative Resident as part of his master’s program at Xavier University and later joining the team full time as Specialist, Population Health.

“Being from Nigeria, I’ve witnessed how an inadequate health infrastructure can affect so many lives, especially the economically disadvantaged. When given the opportunity to connect with stakeholders, prioritize improving health outcomes, and collaborate on addressing these barriers to a healthier community, I was beyond excited to be involved in work that’s not only inclusive but keeps our healthcare community accountable.”

During his time so far at THC, Ericson has been an integral part of the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and the Test & Protect initiative by convening partners, hospitals/health systems, Community-Based Organizations, and different health departments to collaborate towards a common good. These projects spanned over multiple years and focused heavily on addressing disparities within the Greater Cincinnati Region.
As Sr. Specialist, Community Health, Ericson will continue to work towards health equity and will take on even more responsibility with our community health work.

We thank Ericson for his dedication to our mission and the idea that good health is a right, not a privilege. Join us in congratulating Ericson on his promotion and many achievements!
