Behavioral health, and the sensitivities associated with it, is something that healthcare and social service providers frequently encounter. Yet, it is often under-represented in terms of continuing education opportunities and can present challenges to healthcare providers. The Health Collaborative’s Triple Aim Education Center intends to change that with a unique new course offering this spring called “Behavioral Health Basics – What Health Care Providers Should Know.” Join us on May 6 for a full-day session to learn about local behavioral health services, trauma informed care, substance abuse treatment, legal considerations in behavioral health, de-escalation techniques, and much more. You’ll have the opportunity to network with behavioral health representatives and colleagues from UC Health, United Way, Talbert House, Beckett Springs, the Butler County Board of Mental Health, the Center for Trauma Informed Care, and the Center for Addictions & Treatment.
