Ohio Healthcare Virtual Career Fair

Ohio Healthcare Virtual Career Fair is a statewide event being held on February 25, 2026, designed to inspire middle and high school students to explore careers in healthcare.
Working in collaboration with healthcare sector partnerships across the state, this event will spotlight five in-demand healthcare occupations and feature hospitals through pre-recorded videos and live Q&A sessions with students. This event is completely free for students and schools, and provides an opportunity for thousands of students to log in on February 25 or view pre-recorded videos at a later date.

Event Highlights
Emcee Josie Masset from Think TV, the Dayton PBS affiliate, will guide us through the event
Opening remarks by Governor Mike DeWine, emphasizing the importance of healthcare careers
Representative Rachel Baker will deliver keynote address
Lt. Governor, Jim Tressel will deliver the closing remarks
Plus a student presentation form a member of Ohio HOSA

Participating Hospitals Will
- Inspire future professionals by helping students see a pathway into healthcare careers.
- Build the pipeline of tomorrow’s healthcare talent.
- Engage directly with students in a live Q&A.
- Promote their most in-demand careers through spotlight videos that highlight real professionals and career pathways.
- Feature their hospital to students, educators, and families across Ohio.
- Participation is limited to Ohio hospitals.
How It Works
Hospitals will submit an application and rank which of the five occupations they would most like to spotlight.
Medical Assistant
Surgical Technologist
Nursing
Respiratory Therapy
Radiologic Technician
Applications will be reviewed, and selected hospitals will be notified immediately.
If Selected
- Hospitals will produce a short spotlight video (no more than 10 minutes) on one of the in-demand healthcare occupations
- Hospital professionals must also be available during the live Q&A sessions with students on February 25
