THC Staff Spotlight: Sharon Trainer, Member Services Coordinator

Get to know Sharon!

What are you currently working on at The Health Collaborative you are excited about?

I’m currently involved in THC’s transition from Salesforce to MondayCRM, and it’s a really big, exciting project. Jill Collet and Raman Arora have been doing a fantastic job leading the effort, and I truly believe we’re well on our way. I’m genuinely looking forward to the day the transition is complete, because I know the entire organization will benefit from Monday’s capabilities.

Do you have a favorite part of work?

Well this might sound odd, but I genuinely love working with numbers and math – and I get to do a lot of that in my role in the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). I can easily get lost in the data, digging into the details, reconciling, calculating… doesn’t that sound fun?! 😊 Beyond that, I really enjoy being in a support role and helping teams across the organization. I work with such great people, which makes the work even more enjoyable.

Any favorite hobbies outside of work?

Our family owns three American Saddlebred horses, and our three daughters train and show them competitively. Our whole family is really involved and has been for more than 30 years. I’m at the barn every day with our daughters and our 4 year old granddaughter, Charlie Greyce, and even our 1½ year old grandson, Jett, likes to ‘help’ whenever he can. Charlie actually began showing last year in the LeadLine division and won first place in all her classes during her very first season – so darn cute! It’s just a wonderful hobby for the entire family and we couldn’t be prouder of them all, including the horses!

Do you travel?

There are two favorite places I’ve traveled to: one was when we drove a motor home out west to Washington and Oregon with the entire family. Travelling through all the states was amazing and our destinations were even better.  There’s so much beauty and interesting sites to see – I just loved that! The other was travelling to Mexico for my daughter & son-in-law’s destination wedding. Again, our whole family went, and it was special and beautiful– the best of memories!
