Cincinnati Children’s Tackles Vaccine Hesitancy in Black Community

Whether it's a personal connection or this new video, these community advocates are hoping to boost the number of minorities getting vaccinated.

1.7 million Ohioans have now received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, but when broken down by race, only 6% of those Ohioans are Black.

 

It’s a big concern because Black people are dying from COVID-19 at a higher rate.

 

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is working with community partners to roll out a new video encouraging vaccination and featuring well-known community leaders such as Lincoln Ware and Pastor Damon Lynch Jr.
