DirectConnect Establishes Connections for Local Minority-Owned Businesses

This inaugural summit featured business pitches from 15 suppliers, and 11 minority and diverse-owned businesses to showcase their products and services.

Healthy communities require building economic equity in addition to top-notch medical care.

DirectConnect, presented by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center on May 5, provided a unique opportunity for minority/women/veteran/disability/LGBTQ-owned businesses to establish connections and build networks within the local healthcare ecosystem. The inaugural event featured 12 minority and diverse-owned businesses that showcased their products and services to healthcare leaders and decision-makers via 60-second commercials.

The event brought together 100 vendors, suppliers to engage in panel discussions and knowledge-sharing. In addition, vendors met one-on-one with Cincinnati Children’s representatives, creating opportunities for potential collaborations and partnerships.
