“Test and Protect” is a partnership between Hamilton County, The Health Collaborative and eight organizations you know and trust to deliver safe and reliable COVID-19 testing to those neighborhoods and organizations that need it the most.
Through positive case detection, Test and Protect aims to help stop the spread of COVID-19 to better PROTECT the health of all people in Hamilton County.
Hamilton County has awarded $18 Million of the $142 Million CARES Act Fund to testing.
This means 175,000 tests from now until the end of this year.
TESTING is critical is to the overall strategy to minimize the spread of the virus and keep the region open.
BUT this TESTING is different.
Hamilton County has partnered with The Health Collaborative and their partners as we have regional surveillance across the region that can pinpoint where there are spikes and hot spots in communities. Hamilton County CARES COVID-19 testing is now open for businesses, ready to take requests on outbreak mitigation needed.
